The Greenwood Improvement Society Gives Grant
The Greenwood Improvement Society, in conjunction with The Phoenix Foundation of the Boundary Communities, has awarded a grant of $997.55 to the Greenwood Library for purchase of a new computer and thermal receipt printer for the Circulation desk.
These much-needed items replace an aging computer that often slowed or “hung up” when trying to circulate items to patrons, and a receipt printer that printed very slowly as well, and would have been incompatible with a new computer. Now transactions with patrons are done more quickly and efficiently, with less time wasted waiting for a long list of books to print out.
Thank you to both The Greenwood Improvement Society and the Phoenix Foundation for this most helpful grant!
